Yes, you can. We have certain studio room types that we allow dual occupancy. Alternatively, you can also choose to share a cluster apartment with your friends.
Your rent includes rent per your agreement plus all utility bills, 24/7 gym access, unlimited WiFi, free access to designated common areas, free use of on-site laundry and free access to the Sonder health & wellbeing app

All of our properties have accessible/disabled rooms available.
Payment of a deposit of up to 2 weeks’ rent is required at the time of applying for accommodation. At The Switch, we are transparent about our cancellation policy, so please visit the Terms of Use page on our website for more details. The deposit will become your first 2 weeks’ rent once you move in.
We require a bond payment equivalent to 4 weeks’ rent from our tenants under the residential tenancy agreement. Each state has specific requirements around how you can pay the bond. Please feel free to speak to our team on this.
We are not one-lease-length-for-all kind of community, so please speak to our team about how long you would like to stay. Of course, the longer you stay with The Switch, the lower your weekly rent will be.
You will be required to enter into a residential tenancy agreement with us.
The Switch’s cancellation policy applies only to cancellations made prior to the Agreement start date. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing from the email address used to execute your Residential Tenancy Agreement or Occupancy Agreement and sent to The Switch’s designated email address.
Cancelling Before the Agreement Start Date (All Timeframes):
If you request to cancel your executed Agreement before the Agreement start date – regardless of how much notice is provided – your Agreement will be cancelled. However, you will not be entitled to a refund of your deposit unless you can provide valid written evidence of one of the following circumstances:
Approved cancellations under these circumstances will be eligible for a full refund of your deposit. If your executed agreement is in Western Australia, the deposit of two weeks’ rent will be used to cover the expenses of locating another tenant to take over the apartment and the rent lost over this period. If there is no loss to The Switch, the deposit will be refunded.
